About Rupertsland Institute
Rupertsland Institute (RLI) is a Métis education, training and research institution that provides province-wide services to eligible Métis people residing in Alberta. RLI is an affiliate of the Metis Nation of Alberta and is registered as a non-profit entity under the Alberta Companies Act. RLI is governed by a community-based professional Board of Directors. RLI’s vision statement is “A skilled and self-reliant Metis Nation through education, training and research.” RLI is largely funded federally through the Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS). It provides employment and training support services to more than 1,000 Métis individuals annually including funding for postsecondary education, apprenticeship training and industry-based group training. Scope
KETO is a multi-tenant (database per tenant) self-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) client data management system developed in the early 2000s. RLI is seeking the services of a well-established information technology company (ies) to participate in upgrading portions of KETO.

Under the direction of the RLI Senior Systems Analyst, the successful candidate(s) may work one or more of three main parts of the upgrade: 1) Authentication System, 2) User Interface and 3) Reporting System. Candidates may bid to work on one or a combination of the three principal segments. RLI reserves the right to assign work to one or more proponents.

Deliverables
A response to this proposal should include: 1. A detailed outline of the services that the company can provide to Rupertsland Institute. 2. Background information and relevant experience of the Applicant Company and/or individuals who will be providing services (CVs for all the personnel that will work on the project). 3. A detailed analysis of the units of time that will be required to achieve the stated goals under the three primary areas of redevelopment. 4. Fee structure and other related costs. 5. Reference names and organizations where the respondent has performed similar work

Scope
RLI is seeking the services of a well-established HR consulting firm to review RLI’s compensation, conduct salary surveys and assess current market value of benchmarked positions within the organization, and make recommendations to RLI’s current salary grid and compensation practices. Experience working with non-profit organizations is preferred.

A response to this proposal should include:

  1. A detailed outline of the services that your company can provide to Rupertsland Institute
  2. Background information and relevant experience of your company and/or individuals who will be providing services
  3. An outline of the recommended approach for meeting the scope of the project
  4. The type and scope of consultations with RLI personnel that will be required
  5. Fee structure and other costs
  6. Reference names and organizations where the respondent has performed similar work
